The wedding of Carolyn and Ryan was exquisite, to say the least! This wonderful couple’s big day was the first wedding we had the pleasure of hosting at our venue, and it was flawless. With the help of our exclusive caterer, The JDK Group, we made sure that the couple and their guest would remember this day for their lifetime.
The Bride & Groom
Carolyn and her bridesmaids were able to relax in the bridal suite, located on the second floor of the mansion, as they got their hair and makeup done. Carloyn’s off-the-shoulder dress had a simple, yet elegant, design with a beautiful train. Her soon-to-be groom, Ryan, and his gentleman looked dapper in their navy blue tuxes accompanied by brown dress shoes.
The ceremony took place on the mansion lawn with the iconic 1920s mansion as the ceremony backdrop. The florals created by The JDK Group’s Floral and Event Design Team only added to the beautiful elegance of the couples big day. The chairs leading to the altar, where the groom waited patiently for his bride, were beautifully decorated with florals to match Carolyn’s bouquet. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, the touches of blue and pink colored flowers mixed with greenery made for a stunning aesthetic.
The reception was held inside a translucent skylight tent located on the mansion’s sprawling front lawn. Inside, everything was picture perfect from the string lights draped across the ceiling to the elegant cake display. The reception area was spacious enough for all of the couple’s guest to move freely around and included a wooden dance floor in the center to allow friends and family members to dance the night away later in the evening. The food held high expectations from the bride, being as she works as a Chef at a private club for a living, but The JDK Group did not disappoint! They created mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres and entreés that left the guests, and the happily married couple, extremely pleased.
After a long day of laughing, crying and making memories, Carolyn and Ryan were sent off by their loved ones to enjoy their first night of husband and wife. We were honored to be a part of such an amazing moment in this couples life and are thrilled at how beautiful our first wedding at our venue, Historic King Mansion, went! We wish Carolyn and Ryan all the best in their promising future together.
Congratulations, to Ryan and Carolyn!
