Q: Does Historic King Mansion have a curfew?
A: All events must conclude by 10:00 pm Sunday – Friday and by 10:30 PM on Saturdays due to the noise ordinances in our location.
Q: Can I have a ceremony onsite? Is there an extra fee?
A: Yes, you can have your ceremony on site. There is not an extra fee for having your ceremony at Historic King Mansion.
Q: If my ceremony is off-site, can I arrive early to take pictures?
A: You have access to the venue beginning at 10:30 AM the day of your wedding. Therefore, you are able to come and go as you please during those hours.
Q: Can I have my wedding rehearsal at Historic King Mansion?
A: Your on-site rehearsal of your ceremony is included in the venue rental. Rehearsals are best scheduled on the Thursday or Friday evening before your wedding. We cannot guarantee specific date availability for your rehearsal until one month prior to your wedding due to the event schedule. It is highly recommended that your officiant be present for your on-site rehearsal.
Q: Is my dog allowed at Historic King Mansion?
A: Dogs are permitted on property for ceremony and photo purposes for a limited amount of time and may only be in outdoor locations. A pet security form must be completed and approved by the venue before having your dog on property.
Q: Are real candles allowed?
A: Yes, real candles are permitted but must be kept within a vessel. Open flame is not permitted.
Q: Are sparklers allowed?
A: Yes, sparklers are allowed to be used on property outside of the building.
Q: Can I bring in my own alcohol? How much should I provide?
A: You are required to provide your own alcohol for all events at Historic King Mansion. Our bartenders are required to serve all alcohol, open bottles on tables for self-service is not permitted. All bars must be an open bar and not cash bar. We will work with you to create an alcohol template on quantities to be provided based on your guest count and duration of event.

A: Under the Pennsylvania standard liquor liability protocols, shots are prohibited at Historic King Mansion.
Q: Can I use an outside caterer?
A: We have a list of exclusive caterers you may choose from. Please inquire and we will send you this information.
