Our unique, art-deco wedding venue is at the heart of Harrisburg, PA, but feels worlds away.
Begin your day in our meticulously restored and spacious preparation suites, surrounded by your closest friends and family. Sip on champagne as you savor the view of the river from the balconies — a perfectly private and serene space before you walk down the aisle.
As guests arrive, they’ll see the stunning architecture of the mansion and the picturesque views of the river. Exchange your vows in our outdoor ceremony space or inside at the foot of the grand staircase.
After your ceremony, treat your guests to a cocktail hour filled with handcrafted cocktails and exquisite hors d'oeuvres. They can take their drink and explore the estate or mingle on the grand porch while the sun sets over the Susquehanna.
Move inside for a reception space reminiscent of the grandeur of the 1920s! The spacious ballroom offers chandeliers, stained concrete floors, market lighting, and a smoky mirror accent wall, so you can celebrate with all your loved ones.
Grab the sparklers, head down the grand staircase, and out on the lawn to end the night in style. And for those who want to keep the party going, you’re only a few minutes away from downtown Harrisburg’s restaurants and nightlife.
If you are looking for a classic, timeless, and eye-catching venue for your wedding, look no further than the Historic King Mansion in Harrisburg, PA. My now husband and I decided early on that we wanted a cocktail-style wedding where our family & friends could mingle while enjoying their food & drink. We had wanted a venue with multiple rooms & options to flow throughout as well as an indoor/outdoor option. The mansion provides a designated reception space but also allows the guests to move throughout the sitting rooms and outside on the porch. Our wedding was to be an outdoor wedding on the lawn, but it had rained that day, so our ceremony was moved indoors, and the set-up was beautiful and intimate. The mansion also lends itself as a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos that also includes views and photo opportunities of the Susquehanna River. The 1920s, recently renovated mansion was everything that we had wanted in the venue for our wedding
